You know What?

I can't stand waiting for buses, because nothing constructive even became of waiting.

"Northern Downpour sends its love......"

If all our life is but a dream
Fantastic posing greed, then we should feed our jewelry to the sea

For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me

And then she said she can’t believe
Genius only comes along in storms of fabled foreign tongues

Tripping eyes and flooded lungs
The northern downpour sends its love

Hey moon please forget to fall down
Hey moon don’t you go down
Sugar cane in the easy morning
Weather vanes my one and lonely

The ink is running towards the page
Chasing off the days
Look back at both feet and that winding knee
I missed your skin when you were east
You clicked your heels and wished for me
Those playful lips made of yarn
That fragile Capricorn unraveled words like moths upon old scarves
I know the worlds a broken bone
But melt your headaches, call it home

Hey moon please forget to fall down
Hey moon don’t you go down

Sugar cane in the easy morning
Weathervanes my one and lonely

Sugar cane in the easy morning
Weathervanes my one and lonely (repeats x2)

Sugarcane (Hey moon) in (hey moon)
The easy (Hey moon) mornin'
Weathervanes (Hey moon) my (hey moon)
One (Hey moon) and lonely

I absolutely Looooveee this song.
Don't you think they sound a lil like the beatles?
I first heard this song on MTV yesterday and i was like... whoa.... that is a really nice song.

I finally bought an iPhone cover...

But mine's blue of course.
I hope it helps protect my phone.
My phone has been through quite weathered times. (haha!)
And it has to last me 3 years till my contract is up!
So, i am glad i got this cover.

B.C was A.

Bandcamp was Awesome.
haha yeah so thats what the acronyms stand for.
Even though some things didnt no exactly go as planned,
(ie. caught in the middle of a storm while returning from lunch-break)
it was all good i would say. =)
And camps are like that, you can plan right down to the second but when it comes to the actual thing, things change.
The most important thing is that we enjoyed ourselves. (at least i know i did)
Yesterday i returned home,
Feeling like the ending of a good primary school composition....
"Tired, but Happy".

When Boredom doesnt become the devil's playground but our playground for stupidity and creativity, Vera doing "THE CHAIR" while waiting for the groups to arrive in the Amazing Race.

Well... what can i say? we are only young once right?
(I didnt fall by the way.. hahaha)

Half the girls from S.U.P, braving the storm to get to band on time.
Talk about commitment.

There are more photos on facebook i guess. But i didnt take much, i didnt have a camera for the actual farewell party night. But i like this picture, its so... joyous aint it?

B-A-N-D-C-A-M-P

is keepin me as busy as the busiest bee.
i am so tired.
It is the most ironic thing in the world,
that the holidays tire you out more than a normal school week.
Cra-zy.

Crap...

Now i want to go to New York.

And its all Jay Z's and Alicia Key's fault.

I first heard of this song on the EMA's.
Its so catchy... and groovy especially the part sang by Alicia Keys.
Whoa.. i just love it man..

And the video is just so...
Artsy man!
Whoa i totally didnt know Jay Z was THAT creative.
Haha...
I mean i didnt even liked rap music ( well most of it) until now.
I thought it was all noise.

This kinda dance is called the "Lindyhop".
And people who dance this kind of dance are called "Lindyhoppers"
SO COOLLL!!!!!!!!!
I wanna learn.
Hahaha..
Actually i think dancing's pretty rad.
Like... Yeah...
I shall LEARN IT!
HAHA!
Btw Lindy Hop was invented by Afro Americans.
Just like Jazz Music.
And i was thinking that actually African Americans are pretty musical!
And that was pretty cool too.

Saturday The 14th, the day after Friday the 13th.

is the day i faced my first real rejection.
Today, after waking up at 79. at 11.57am, after our crazy ride-in-the-friggin-not-stop-rain nightcycling event last night, i returned home with my pop to eat lunch and than headed down to Ikea @ Tampines.

After driving all the way to Tampines, i was REJECTED by their staff mending the Part time walk in interview booth thingy, not because my shirt was a little creased but because i was TOO YOUNG.
I had to be at least 16 years old.
OH COME ON! That is just 3months and 5 days away!.
That aint a lot, like seriously.
I am bigger than most 17 year olds i dare say.
Sigh...
Anyways...
So after being REJECTED, we ate at the Ikea bistro and hung out at Tampines for a little while because well how often do you go to Tampines right? Before heading home.
GOODNEWS at least i did enjoy nightcycling.
Burned some fat i hope.
Here are some visual aids to help in your imagination of what had transpired the night before:

TGIF

It was very warm.
But nice to see carissa after such a long while.
The School Holidays have OFFICIALLY begun.
Let the fun begin.

Tuesday, 3 November 2009

So lately, i have been late...

For school so often that i have become numb to it.
Yeah thats quite terrible.
Haha..
Anyhows,
I recently watched Michael Jackson's This is It with nat the hippie and i suddenly think MJ's pretty much a musical genius.
People said it so often after he died, but it didnt really occured to me until i watched him rehearsing in This is It.
It was real good.
I really like Smooth Criminal.
Its bassline is so groovy and catchy it just sticks to you like glue.
GUM.
Haha...
Other than that,
I have been pretty much busy with extra currilum at school and its really so SO tiring.
For some reason.
Its like we're all running on reserve fuel or something.
But having said that, i am starting to like chem.
As in... chemistry.
We are learning Mole now, and how to calculate it.
Its pretty funny, they actually have a World Mole Day. (haha!)
Yeah, and for the first time in my life, Chem is understandable and i appear to be catching on fast. Well, at least that is what i'd like to think. ;)
Yeap, Oh yes!
And i was just reading my mail just now,
And i received the Swee Lee ad to this sat and sun's mega sale!
WHOA.
Go check it out.
www.sweelee.sg
Pretty cool.

Kay than...
seeeeeeeeee yal.

Check out this real cool version of Beat it in the This is It show.

Check OUT that GUITARIST.
Shes crazy good.

So results came back.
Passed everything except (of course there is an except),
A Math and E Math.

I feel pretty alright about it.
Expected.
Anyhows,
I am going to church tomorrow to Jam.
Hope its gonna be fun.
And Thank God, we got 2nd for Meth cup!
That was really REALLY a surprise.

Meanwhile, i'll leave you with this awesome song.

The video's... kinda.. subjective to perspective.
(haha!)

Kay ciao!

Its Time For A Change.

I think...
I should start reading my Bible daily.
See what God has installed for me each new day of life.
Yeap.
So thats the plan.
Btw, speaking of plans.
Tomorrow, is a school holiday. (whee ha!)
And i'll be fris-beeing early in the morning at sentosa,
Than heading down to Chinatown for my Dental Appointment.
Later at night, maybe a little tennis?
Perhaps.
Yeap, so thats pretty much how i am spending my depavali-school-holiday.

SCHOOLS OUT! SCREAM A SHOUT!!!!!!!!!!!

WHOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!

I've screamed so much today i almost lost my voice. (yeah i lose my voice easily...)
But it was all good.
Today at first it seemed like such a bummer after our last paper (emath) we, as in the exco of band had to stay back while everyone else left (to CELEBRATE! might i add) to clear out the old bandroom and move EVERYTHING to the new band room minus the instruments which were already moved there. EVERYTHING ELSE was really really BAD.
Dust from a century ago, or no, i mean CENTERIES ago flew into our hair, on my skin in our airways. We coughed, we scratched, we sneezed.
But it was all good, as we, being teenagers ALWAYS, and i mean ALWAYS find the fun in EVERYTHING. We played with the trolleys (its AMAZING how much fun you can have with trolleys and a bunch ol nuts people...), ran around like mad people, screaming at the top of our lungs and dancing to our own vocal chording music. (we were dancing and singing.. okay more like screaming and jumping disorganizingly about..ha!)
And i guess that is the perk about being a teenager.
You have an excuse to be crazy.
In short, today was the PER-FECT way to end the last day of exam.
And of course it was most unexpected. But it is the unexpected that thrills sometimes.
Just being who we are.
Teenagers.
Oh yes! AND.. because we were SO Hardworking our teacher treated us to Jack's Place at anchorpoint for lunch.
Yeeeaaap!
Fan-tas-tic! (ker!)

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HA!!!!!!!!!!
I am offffff to enjoy my self.
See you guys in a bit!
;)
