OMG. THE MIRROR HAS BEEN LYING TO US ALL THIS WHILE.

I just made an uber 'oh-my-goodness-NO-WAY!' discovery.


I just realised that, what we see in the mirror of ourselves, is not the way people see us.
And i don't mean this in some deep way, i mean it literally, superficially.

Like if our hair parting is on our left, it will be on the right of someone else looking at me!
OMG.
BUT. The mirror will project the image of your hair parting being on your left.
So actually, what you see in the mirror is not how people will view you in real life.
OMG.
Mega (million), giga (billion), tetra (trillion), googolplex (10¹⁰¹⁰⁰), discovery!

AND THIS IS HOW I FOUND OUT.




On the left, is how people would see me, on the right, is how i perceive to be seen. (led to believe by mirror) Looks really different huh? But it is the exact same image, just laterally inverted.
SO COOL.

By taking pictures of myself on the Macbook's photobooth and inverting them.
See.
who says narcissism has no benefits? (haha! oh and for the record i wasn't being narcissistic, just you know...wanted to see how i looked. ;)
